Overview

We are seeking a motivated Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) to provide outpatient behavioral health services under clinical supervision. This role includes individual and/or family therapy, documentation in an electronic health record, and participation in supervision to support licensure and professional growth.

Description

Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Setting: Outpatient Behavioral Health
Location: In-person and/or Telehealth (Washington State)

 Primary Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient behavioral health services, including individual, family, and/or couples therapy as appropriate
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in an electronic health record (EHR)
• Collaborate with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members as needed
• Participate in regular clinical supervision in accordance with Washington State requirements
• Adhere to ethical standards, agency policies, and applicable state and federal regulations
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and uphold client confidentiality
• Engage in ongoing learning and skill development to support clinical growth and licensure goals

• Anxiety and depression
• Trauma and attachment-related concerns
• Relationship and family dynamics
• Life transitions and stress management
• Substance use and co-occurring disorders
• ADHD and neurodiversity-informed care
• (Client populations and specialty areas may be tailored based on clinician interest and training.)

Qualifications

• Active Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) credential in Washington State (or ability to obtain)
• Bachelors Degree (completed or in progress, as applicable) in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage caseload responsibilities independently while utilizing supervision appropriately
• Comfort with technology and electronic health records
