Nick is the founder of True North Therapy Group and a licensed mental health professional based in Ferndale, Washington. He is passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, substance use, and relationship challenges through a compassionate, practical, and collaborative approach. Born and raised in Whatcom County, he feels deeply connected to the community he serves and believes healing often happens best when people feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported. Outside of the therapy office, Nick enjoys spending time on his small farm, woodworking, fishing, and building things with his hands. Nick's hobbies reflect his belief that growth, patience, and resilience are part of both life and healing. He also has a slightly unexpected creative side and enjoys crocheting, which he jokingly describes as “proof that therapy and yarn both help untangle complicated things.” Nick strives to create a welcoming, down-to-earth environment where clients can feel comfortable being themselves while working toward meaningful and lasting change.

Leigh is a Clinical Supervisor at True North Therapy Group and has been a helping professional for more than two decades. In addition to operating her own solo practice, Leigh provides supervision and support to clinicians at True North, bringing wisdom, warmth, and a deep commitment to ethical, compassionate care. Leigh is energetic, outgoing, and full of life, with a personality that brings encouragement and momentum wherever she goes. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time with her chickens, getting out on the water in her sailboat, and digging into yard work. Her love of growth, movement, and hands-on living reflects the spirit she brings to supervision: practical, engaged, and deeply invested in helping clinicians develop confidence, competence, and care for the people they serve.

Dane is an Agency-Affiliated Counselor at True North Therapy Group who works with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, adjustment-related challenges, and substance use concerns. He has nearly a decade of experience as a helping professional and brings a grounded, thoughtful presence to the therapy space. Dane values meeting people where they are with compassion, curiosity, and respect. He is especially attuned to the ways stress, life transitions, and uncertainty can impact mental health, and he enjoys helping clients find steadiness and practical tools during difficult seasons. Outside of his clinical work, Dane enjoys woodworking, making small creative projects, and growing indoor plants. These interests reflect his appreciation for patience, care, and the belief that meaningful growth often happens through steady attention over time.

Kellie-Anne is an Agency-Affiliated Counselor at True North Therapy Group who works with individuals facing a wide range of challenges that often come with being human such as stress, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, relationship struggles, and the everyday weight of trying to hold it all together. She brings a calm, steady presence to her work and values creating a space where clients feel genuinely heard, accepted, and supported. Outside of the therapy room, Kellie-Anne enjoys what she jokingly refers to as “old-lady hobbies,” including caring for her animals (currently a pair of newborn calves, too many chickens and a pack of dogs), canning food, cooking, and other homestead-style pursuits. These grounding, hands-on practices reflect her belief in patience, nourishment, and tending carefully to what matters. Kellie-Anne carries these principles into her therapeutic work as she helps clients cultivate resilience, balance, and meaningful change.
